We engage intellectually with what is distant and past, experimentally with what will happen in the future, and practically with what is right under our noses.
This book narrates the journey of one of the leading creative figures in contemporary Turkish architecture, Nevzat Sayın, as he responds to a call and embarks on a path, using “images and plates” as tools of expression.
Based on extensive interviews conducted by architecture critic Tansel Korkmaz with Nevzat Sayın, the textweavestogether photographs, drawings, and notesthatreflect the master architect’s nuanced thoughts.
All of these come together in “an atlas of professional practice of an architect.”
